How Much Does the Voopoo Argus G2 Cost?
The Voopoo Argus G2 kit costs $24.49 at the time of writing, which is a real bargain for a device aimed squarely at the heart of the premium segment of the vaping market. Most Configurable Small Pod System
Although the Voopoo Argus G2 is easy to set up, it’s also a device that’s marketed to experienced vapers. There’s so much to change about this device that you’re virtually guaranteed to find a setup that suits you. Here are the four main ways that you can interact with the device.
- Airflow: The Argus G2 can deliver anything from a tight mouth-to-lung draw to a slightly restricted direct-to-lung hit. The airflow adjustment slider is on the side of the device.
- Pod Selection: The Argus G2 works with any Voopoo Argus pod. If you want to use the newly revised Argus pod, you’ll have three resistances to choose from: 0.4, 0.7 and 1.0 ohm. Choose a lower resistance for bigger, warmer clouds or select a higher resistance for a smoother experience with high-strength nicotine salt e-liquid.
- Wattage: The Argus G2 has fully adjustable wattage and operates at a maximum power of 30 watts.
- Vaping Mode: In addition to allowing you to select the device’s base wattage, the Argus G2 also has three selectable vaping modes. Smart Mode is the default mode, and it’s designed to provide a balanced experience that gives you big clouds and vivid flavors without compromising battery life. Improved Argus Pod
With the release of the Argus G2, Voopoo introduced a brand-new version of the Argus pod that’s improved in every way. Owners of other Argus devices can also take advantage of the new pod, but the Argus G2 was the first device to include the pod in the starter kit. Compared to the original Argus pod, the new pod has the following enhancements.
- The capacity has been increased from 2 ml to 3 ml.
- The coil has been increased in size for improved cloud production.
- The efficiency and durability of the wick have been improved for longer pod life.
According to Voopoo, the new Argus pod maintains peak performance for up to 30 days or 90 ml of e-liquid usage. This claim, however, is made with the assumption that you’ll be using unsweetened vape juice. If you use heavily sweetened e-liquid, the pod’s life will be shorter.
How to Use the Voopoo Argus G2

Charging
Charge the Argus G2 by connecting it to your computer with the included charging cable. While the device charges, you’ll see an animation on the screen. The display also shows the battery’s current charge level along with an estimation of how much longer the charging process will take. When the battery indicator reaches “100%,” you can disconnect the device.
Filling
The Argus pod has a side filling port that you can access whether the pod is or isn’t installed in the device. Place your fingernail under the silicone plug and lift the plug to open the port. Add e-liquid to the pod, leaving a little room for the plug at the top. Close the plug securely and wait several minutes before vaping.
Vaping
The Voopoo Argus G2 supports both inhale-activated and button-activated firing. You can vape by puffing on the pod’s mouthpiece, or you can puff while holding the fire button. If you’re using the fire button, release the button when you want the device to stop producing vapor.
Changing the Settings
To change the Argus G2’s wattage, click the fire button three times. This enables the device’s wattage adjustment mode. Click the button to cycle through the available wattage settings. When you’ve reached your desired power level, click and hold the button or wait a moment for the menu to close.

Replacing the Pod
When you’re no longer happy with the Argus G2’s flavor, it’s time to replace the pod. When e-liquid residue collects on the coil, you’ll notice a smoky and burnt taste. Discard the coil and replace it with a new one.
