How to Use the Voopoo Argus A

Charging
To charge the Argus A, connect it to your computer using the charging cable included in the box. While the device charges, the screen shows a battery indicator. Wait until the indicator is full and disconnect the charging cable.
Filling
Voopoo Argus pods are available in both side-filling and top-filling versions.
- To open a side-filling pod, remove the silicone plug from the side of the pod and add your e-liquid through the hole.
- To open a tip-filling pod, wiggle the mouthpiece until it comes off and add your e-liquid through the filling hole. Don’t put e-liquid in the airflow channel in the center of the pod.
Regardless of which pod you’re using, remember that you should always leave a little empty space at the top of the pod to ensure that the plug has sufficient room. If you overfill the pod, it’ll leak. When you fill a new Argus pod for the first time, don’t start vaping until you’ve waited several minutes to ensure that the cotton wick is fully saturated.
Vaping
The Voopoo Argus A supports both inhale-activated and button-activated firing.
- To use the inhale-activated firing system, simply inhale through the mouthpiece while a pod is installed in the device. The Argus A uses a variation of Voopoo’s famous Gene chipset for responsiveness and fires almost instantly.
- To use the button-activated firing system, inhale through the mouthpiece while holding the fire button.
Changing the Wattage
To change the wattage on the Voopoo Argus A, click the fire button three times quickly. This enables the wattage adjustment mode. Click the button to change the wattage. To confirm your selection, either hold the button or wait a few seconds for the menu to close on its own.
Replacing the Pod
As we mentioned earlier in the review, you can generally expect a Voopoo Argus pod to last about a week before it burns out. Vaping heavily and/or using very sweet e-liquid can shorten pod life. When it’s time to replace your pod, you’ll notice a flavor that’s somewhat smoky and burnt. When you’re no longer happy with the flavor, discard the pod and replace it with a new one.
