How Much Does the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 Cost?
The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 costs $33.99 at the time of writing, and it’s available in seven gorgeous colors. The kit includes the XROS Pro 2 device along with two pods, a charging cable and an instruction manual. We suggest adding an extra box of pods to your order as well because there’s always a chance of a pod burning out early, and you wouldn’t want to be caught without any spares.
Like all XROS vapes, the XROS Pro 2 works with all XROS pods – and since there are now three generations of pods available, you have plenty of options.

Some vaping devices are updated so often that you can safely skip a generation if you’re using the previous device in the series and are still happy with it. Most people will probably find, though, that this isn’t the case with the XROS Pro and XROS Pro 2 because the devices were released well over a year apart.

- The XROS Pro has a monochrome screen, and the XROS Pro 2 has a color screen. Both screens have the same type of “hidden” design that blends in with the device’s finish when it’s off.
- The XROS Pro weighs 86 grams. The XROS Pro 2 uses a futuristic magnesium alloy shell that’s significantly lighter at just 65 grams (about 25 percent lighter).
- The XROS Pro and XROS Pro 2 both operate at up to 30 watts.

The XROS Pro was the first XROS device to feature adjustable wattage when Vaporesso released it early in 2024. By the end of 2024, though, the XROS 4 Nano and XROS 5 both had that feature as well. That gave some people the impression that the XROS Pro series was finished – especially when Vaporesso took so long to develop a sequel. Now that the XROS Pro 2 is out, Vaporesso has two stick-shaped 30-watt XROS devices with adjustable power. So, how do they differ?

- The XROS 5 costs less at $24.95. The XROS Pro 2, meanwhile, costs $33.99.
- The XROS 5 has a battery capacity of 1,500 mAh. The XROS Pro 2 has a capacity of 2,000 mAh, which is the highest battery capacity to date for a stick-shaped pod system.
- The XROS 5 and XROS Pro 2 both have color screens, but the XROS Pro 2’s screen is a little larger at 0.96”. The XROS 5’s screen measures 0.88”. Both screens are quite unique in design, though, so your preference here will mainly come down to how you feel about their appearance.
- The XROS 5 is heavier than the XROS Pro 2 at 73.7 grams. The XROS Pro 2 weighs 65 grams.

Advanced Materials
Although it’s difficult to call anything an expensive vape these days, the XROS Pro 2 does cost a little more than many other small pod vapes. It costs about 36 percent more than the XROS 5, for instance, which has broadly similar capabilities. The reason why the XROS Pro 2 costs a little more is because it uses advanced materials, resulting in a couple of industry firsts.
- The magnesium alloy exterior allows the device to be extremely light. The XROS Pro 2 weighs just 65 grams, which is much lighter than the XROS 5. It’s even lighter than a disposable vape like the Geek Bar Pulse, which weighs 68 grams and has a plastic shell. This is really an impressive accomplishment for Vaporesso.
- Equally impressive is the fact that the XROS Pro 2 has a battery capacity of 2,000 mAh, which is noticeably higher than anything else in the same size category. It’s especially amazing when you consider that you would have once needed to buy a full-sized vape mod to get so much battery life.
If you want a vape that feels different, looks different and delivers a meaningful increase in battery life, the XROS Pro 2 should be your next vape. If those things aren’t important to you, though, you’ll probably be just as happy with the XROS 5 and will save a few dollars by buying it instead.
Unique Screen
Although we’re certain that other companies will copy this aspect of the XROS Pro 2 before long, we have to give special mention to this device’s unique screen because there’s nothing else exactly like it. The screen has the same type of “hidden” design as in the original XROS Pro in that when the device isn’t being used, it fades into the device’s finish and is virtually invisible.
In the past, though, this type of “invisible” screen has always been monochrome. The XROS Pro 2 has a full-color screen, and it even has six selectable themes. The colors do look a little muted under the device’s shell, but this is still an impressive technical accomplishment.
Advanced Puff Counter
One of our favorite things about the XROS Pro 2 is the fact that it has a new type of puff counter that’s infinitely more useful than the puff counters on most vapes. A lot of people are very interested in tracking their vaping habits, but that’s difficult to do with most puff counters because a standard counter doesn’t track your usage over time. You also need to remember to reset the counter once a day, or the number doesn’t mean anything.
The XROS Pro 2 fixes these problems with a built-in tracker that records your average usage and allows you to see whether you’re above or below that average for the current day, week or month. This new system is going to be incredibly useful for many people because it makes it very easy to see whether your usage is consistent or changing.

The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 is probably the classiest little pod system on the market right now, and it has a few technical enhancements that will really impress you if you enjoy using a device that’s extremely modern but still extremely small. This is a device that’s actually lighter than a disposable vape with a plastic shell – and despite the lightness, it has roughly 30-percent more battery life than the average stick-shaped pod system.
