Here’s how the XROS 4 Nano differs from the XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini.
- It’s the only XROS vape with a full-color screen. The XROS 4 has simple icon-based indicators, and the XROS 4 Mini doesn’t have a display at all.
- It has a higher battery capacity of 1,350 mAh, whereas the XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini both have capacities of 1,000 mAh.
- It offers full wattage control when used with the 0.4-ohm pod. The XROS 4 only offers three vaping modes regardless of the pod being used, and the XROS 4 Mini doesn’t offer adjustable modes at all.
How to Use the Vaporesso XROS 4 Nano
Charging the Device
To charge the Vaporesso XROS 4 Nano, connect it to your computer using the included USB-C cable. While the device charges, the screen shows an animation and displays the battery’s current charge level. When the charge level reaches “100%,” the device is fully charged.
Filling the Pod
The XROS 4 Nano ships with a pod already installed in the device, and the pod has a sticker on the bottom to prevent unwanted activation. Before filling the pod for the first time, remove it from the device and discard the sticker. Wiggle the mouthpiece until it comes off of the pod and add your e-liquid through the filling port positioned to the side of the center air channel. Replace the pod’s mouthpiece and wait several minutes before you begin vaping.
Vaping and Changing the Settings
Vaping with the XROS 4 Nano is easy; you can either puff on the mouthpiece or hold the fire button. To adjust the airflow setting, move the slider on the side of the device.
The XROS 4 Nano uses a single control button for all of the device’s functions, but you’ll get used to it quickly because the menu system is really quite intuitive. Just press the button a certain number of times as described below to get to the desired menu. Once you’re there, tap the fire button to switch between options. Finally, either hold the button to confirm your selection or just wait for the menu to close automatically.
- Press the button twice to change the theme displayed on the screen. This menu also allows you to reset the device’s puff counter.
- Press the button three times to enter the power adjustment menu. This menu allows you to select the device’s wattage if you’re using the 0.4-ohm pod or to switch between the Eco, Normal and Power vaping modes if you’re using a different XROS pod.

The Vaporesso XROS 4 Nano is such a dramatic upgrade over all of the previous devices in the series that it really feels like the first XROS vape that’s a real no-brainer to buy regardless of which XROS version you’re currently using. In the past, you might have decided to skip a new entry in the series because there weren’t any compelling new features, and you’d be using the same pods either way.
The XROS 4 Nano is such a big leap forward, though, that it’s going to be dramatically better than what you have now even if you’re already using an XROS 4.
