How Much Does the SMOK Novo 2X Cost?
The SMOK Novo 2X costs just $17.49 at the time of writing, and it’s available in 10 gorgeous colors. The kit includes an extra replacement pod, giving you two pods in total along with a charging cable and an instruction manual. You can expect a pod to last approximately a week depending on how sweet your e-liquid is, which means that it’s probably a good idea to add at least one box of replacement pods to your order. SMOK Novo 2X Pod Compatibility
The SMOK Novo 2X is compatible with three different types of Novo pods. They are:

- SMOK Novo 2 Pods: Sold in packs of three starting at $7.95. Available in resistances ranging from 0.8 to 1.4 ohm.

What are the differences between the three pods? Aside from the fact that they offer different types of coils and coil resistances, the main difference is that SMOK Novo and Novo 2 pods have side filling ports, whereas the Novo 2X pod fills from the top. If you want to have the ability to refill your pod without removing it from the device, you’ll want to use Novo 2X pods. Otherwise, you’ll probably want to choose based on your preferred coil resistance.

SMOK Novo 2X: Features
New Top-Filling Pod
The biggest new feature of the SMOK Novo 2X is the updated pod, which now fills from the top rather than the side. Although the Novo 2X pod works with many devices in the SMOK Novo series, the Novo 2X was the device that introduced it.
The fact that the Novo 2X pod fills from the top means that you can refill your device while the pod is installed in it. All that you need to do is wiggle the mouthpiece until it comes off and add your e-liquid directly through the filling hole. With previous Novo pods, you’d have to remove the pod from the device and add your e-liquid through the filling hole on the side. Some people found that procedure unnecessarily complex and messy.
The SMOK Novo 2X pod is designed to have airflow characteristics reminiscent of the tight draw of a traditional cigarette, delivering an assertive throat hit and a satisfying experience with strong nicotine salt e-liquids.
Surprisingly Small and Satisfying
The SMOK Novo 2X is a very small vape. Measuring just 97 millimeters long, it’s much smaller than you’d think from looking at the pictures. People love how pocketable small vapes are, but they also have a shortcoming in that they typically produce very small clouds. Because of the limited cloud production, some people find that the smallest devices aren’t quite satisfying enough even when they’re filled with stronger e-liquids. Updated Color Selection
Whenever SMOK releases a new vape, you can always count on it to have a terrific color selection – and the Novo 2X definitely doesn’t disappoint there. This device features several options with the “Cobra” snakeskin pattern that you’ve seen on some other SMOK vapes. It also has two liquid-like “Fluid” colors along with a color option made from stabilized wood. The SMOK Novo 2, Novo 2S and Novo 2X are all quite similar to one another. That’s why SMOK didn’t increment the number for the Novo 2S and 2X and continued to use the “Novo 2” naming convention. If you don’t own one of these devices yet, the Novo 2X is definitely the one you want to buy. If you already own the Novo 2 or Novo 2S, though, there’s probably no reason to step up to the Novo 2X unless you’re experiencing a problem with the device you have. - The original SMOK Novo 2 has a slightly higher maximum power of 25 watts, whereas the Novo 2S and 2X top out at 20 watts. It’s clear that the Novo 2S and 2X are designed for additional smoothness with higher-strength e-liquids.

How to Use the SMOK Novo 2X
Compared to most other vape brands, SMOK does a great job with their instruction manuals. The SMOK Novo 2X includes a printed manual that’s clearly written and makes things easy as it walks you through how to use the device. Charging the Device
To charge the Novo 2X, connect it to your computer with the charging cable included in the package. The light on the device turns on while the Novo 2X charges and shuts off when the charge cycle is complete.
Filling the Pod
To fill the Novo 2X, wiggle the mouthpiece until it comes off. Add your e-liquid through the red filling hole, leaving a little room for air at the top. Push the mouthpiece back on.
Vaping
To use the Novo 2X, simply puff on the mouthpiece as if you were smoking a cigarette. The Novo 2X has an automatic airflow sensor and generates vapor instantly.
Adjusting the Airflow
You can adjust the airflow of the Novo 2X by moving the slider on the side of the device. The Novo 2X is designed to produce a tight mouth-to-lung draw like a cigarette, but the adjustable airflow gives you a bit of leeway if you prefer a hit that’s a little looser.
Replacing the Pod
It’s time to replace the pod in your SMOK Novo 2X when you’re no longer happy with the flavor quality. Residue will collect on the coil over time, and it’ll cause the pod to produce a flavor that’s smoky and burnt.
