Off Stamp Battery Isn’t Charging? Here’s How to Fix It
The unique design of the Off Stamp X-Cube makes it a bit more complicated to use than some other disposable vapes. The additional level of complication extends to charging issues, because you need to troubleshoot both the dock and the pod. Here’s what you need to do.
Off Stamp Battery Not Charging
The Off Stamp battery charges via USB, which means that troubleshooting a problem is much the same as fixing any disposable vape. When you connect the dock to a USB port, wait a moment for the screen to turn on and display a charging indicator. If that doesn’t happen, follow these steps.
- Use a different USB-C cable. Faulty cables cause the majority of charging issues with any vape. - Remove and reseat the pod. Sometimes, having the dock attempt to redetect the pod a few times is all it takes to get it working again.
- Make sure the charging points aren’t stuck. The charging points on the Off Stamp battery are spring loaded to ensure that they’ll maintain solid contact with the plates on the bottom of the pod. Push the pins gently and make sure that they spring back to their original positions. If they don’t, they’re probably dirty.
- Clean the contact points. Use a cotton swab to clean the contact points on both the dock and the pod. You can also use a toothpick to remove any lint or dust stuck inside the recessed contact points of the pod.
