Did you know that the first vapes used ultrasonic vibrations to atomize e-liquid? The earliest prototypes used piezoelectric elements – essentially very tiny speakers – to vibrate the vape juice at ultrasonic frequencies, breaking it up into a fine mist for inhaling. Eventually, early vape developers settled on direct heating as a better solution because it offered faster and more reliable cloud production.
Ultrasonic atomization still has some compelling benefits, though, and manufacturers have continued to explore that technology on and off over the years. Ultrasonic mist feels cooler and moister in the mouth than heated vapor. Ultrasonic atomization also doesn’t produce coil gunk and won’t give you a burnt vape.
What if you could get the benefits of ultrasonic atomization and direct heating at the same time? That’s exactly what the Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K attempts to do. It’s the first vape with hybrid atomization, combining an ultrasonic element and a traditional mesh coil to provide the benefits of both. Some people are already saying that the Lost Mary Ultrasonic delivers the best flavor quality of any disposable vape.
How does it work? Let’s dig in.
View the Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K now. The first disposable vape with hybrid atomization technology, the Lost Mary Ultrasonic contains 20 ml of vape juice and lasts up to 35,000 puffs.
How Much Does the Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K Cost?

The Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K costs just $13.99 at the time of writing. That feels like an introductory price to us because it’s unusually low for any vape with 20 ml of e-liquid, let alone one with such unique technology. Lost Mary could get away with charging much more for the Ultrasonic 35K, but it seems they’ve opted to try to increase the user base as quickly as possible and collect feedback on the technology instead. The fact that the Ultrasonic 35K has just seven flavors available right now seems to further support that hypothesis. Whatever the case may be, we advise you to take advantage of the low price while you can.

How Does the Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K Work?

The Lost Mary Ultrasonic combines two atomization technologies in the same device. The first is a traditional dual-coil mesh heating system, which works the same as any other modern disposable vape. The device alternates from one coil to the other when the switch is in the middle position and uses both coils simultaneously when the switch is in the Boost position. You can also move the switch to the Close position to turn the Ultrasonic 35K off.
The Ultrasonic 35K also has an ultrasonic element, which uses high-frequency vibrations to turn the e-liquid into a fine mist. You engage the ultrasonic element by turning the silver-colored barrel next to the Lost Mary logo at the top of the device, and the barrel has three positions. They are:
- (Dot): Ultrasonic element is off.
- Enhanced Flavor: Same flavor as the main e-liquid chamber, but it’s enhanced because you’re getting vapor from two sources at the same time.
- Tart: Adds a bit of additional tartness.
You can choose the ultrasonic mode by lining it up with the white arrow above the e-liquid window. The window gives you a general idea of how much vape juice remains in the ultrasonic tank, although it’s a little hard to see. One good thing about the ultrasonic tanks, though, is that you don’t need to worry about burnt hits if they run out before the main reservoir. Burnt hits aren’t possible with ultrasonic technology.
How Does the Ultrasonic 35K Actually Hit?

If you look online for reviews of the Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K, you’ll see a mix of opinions as to how well the ultrasonic atomization technology works. Some people have commented that the Enhanced Flavor and Tart settings don’t seem to make much of a difference, and others have stated that the Ultrasonic 35K produces some of the best flavor ever from a disposable vape.
We’re firmly in the second camp. Having two different types of vapor hit your palate at the same time is truly an unbelievable experience, but getting the most from that experience requires you to understand the limitation of ultrasonic atomization technology: It’s a little slow to ramp up.
The slowness is exactly why ultrasonic vapes have never quite caught on even though manufacturers have tried to implement the technology several times over the years. Lost Mary’s implementation is completely different because the mesh coil produces vapor immediately. The ultrasonic element still takes a moment to kick in, though, which means that you need to take longer puffs if you want to really taste it. If you’re willing to do that, you’re going to get incredible flavor quality.
Lost Mary Ultrasonic Flavors

The Lost Mary Ultrasonic 35K debuts with a selection of seven flavors. They’re all classic flavors that you’ll know already if you’re a Lost Mary fan, but you’ve never tasted them like this before.
| Flavor | Review |
|---|---|
| Blue Razz Ice | Blue raspberry and menthol with a good blend of sweet and tart. It’s a great choice if you enjoy blue slushies because the flavor profile is very similar. |
| Ice Mint | Chilly mint flavor with plenty of cold menthol. This is the one you’ll want to choose if you enjoy a more neutral experience with a bit less sweetness. |
| Juicy Peach Ice | Super-juicy peach flavor with plenty of sweetness and a chilly menthol exhale. We’d have to say that either this one or Watermelon Ice is probably the sweetest Lost Mary Ultrasonic flavor overall, so you’re completely safe choosing either one if you’ve got a sweet tooth. |
| Pink Lemonade | Classic pink lemonade with a mix of berries providing a nice sense of sweetness and complexity. Pink Lemonade has always been one of Lost Mary’s most popular flavors, and the Lost Mary Ultrasonic gives you a chance to experience it like never before. |
| Sour Apple Ice | Sweet-and-tart green apple with a chilly menthol finish. This flavor has a strong green apple candy vibe, and you’ll definitely like it if sour candy is your thing. |
| Strawberry Ice | Juicy strawberry plus menthol. A slight tart element from the strawberry note makes this a bit more balanced than your average fruit-and-ice flavor. |
| Watermelon Ice | A sweet and candy-like watermelon flavor with chilly menthol. This is one of the best choices if you enjoy a vape that’s very sweet. |
If you’re not an experienced Lost Mary user and aren’t sure which flavor to choose first, we suggest Watermelon Ice if you enjoy sweet candy-like vapes. There’s not a lot of tartness in Watermelon Ice, and it tastes a bit like a piece of watermelon hard candy that’s spent some time in the freezer. If you’d rather try a flavor that brings some tartness to the table, try Sour Apple Ice instead.
