Geek Bar Skyview Review: Our Expert Perspective
Taking the Geek Bar Skyview out of its box, it’s immediately obvious just how far disposable vapes have come in the last 12 months or so. Although it’s still quite pocketable compared to a typical vape mod, the Skyview is huge compared to most of the disposable vapes that came before it. Much of the increased size is probably due to the enormous 1.8-inch display, which is actually bigger than the displays on many vape mods. Bright and colorful, the screen is informative and entertaining without being as distracting as the screens on many disposables can be.
We really enjoy the experience of using the Geek Bar Skyview. The people at Geek Bar have clearly put their experience to good use in this device. They’ve created a vape with more features than ever before, but they’ve done it without designing a device with a cumbersome interface that’s not fun to use. From start to finish, using the Skyview is always easy. Just press the button to change vaping modes and use the slider on the bottom of the device to change the airflow – that’s it. The Skyview might have some of the capabilities of a vape mod – but using it definitely doesn’t have that level of complexity. Even if this is your very first vaping device, it won’t be long at all before you feel at home with it.
So, what will end up being the most popular Geek Bar device – the Geek Bar Skyview or the Geek Bar Pulse X? That depends on how you feel about the tradeoff between size and performance. The Skyview is a bit larger than the Pulse X, but it has a much bigger display and offers three vaping modes rather than two. The Pulse X isn’t quite as feature-filled, but some people might appreciate the fact that it’s a little thinner and more pocketable. Ultimately, it’ll be the members of the vaping community who’ll have the final word.
