The Xlim Pro and Xlim Pro SQ are closely related to one another, and their capabilities are nearly identical. These devices, however, have two differences.
- The Oxva Xlim Pro has a stick shape, and the Xlim Pro SQ has a mini box shape. Neither shape is necessarily better than the other, so you can simply choose based on your preference here.
- The Oxva Xlim Pro SQ has a battery capacity of 1,200 mAh, and the Xlim Pro has a capacity of 1,000 mAh. In other words, the Xlim Pro SQ reviewed on this page has a battery capacity 20 percent greater than that of its stick-shaped relative. With a 20-percent difference in battery capacity between the two devices, you may notice that the Xlim Pro SQ lasts a bit longer between charges. The increased battery capacity does, however, make the Xlim Pro SQ slightly heavier. It weighs 88 grams, whereas the Xlim Pro weighs 66 grams. How to Use the Oxva Xlim Pro SQ
- Charging: To charge the Oxva Xlim Pro SQ, connect the device to your computer using the USB cable included in the package. You’ll see the curved battery meter on the bottom of the screen. When the meter is fully green, the battery is charged.
- Filling the Pod: Remove the pod from the device and open the silicone-covered filling port with your fingernail. Add vape juice until the pod is almost full and reseal the port. If you’re using a new pod, wait several minutes before you begin vaping.
- Vaping: Press the fire button five times to turn the Oxva Xlim Pro SQ on. To vape, hold the fire button or simply inhale through the pod’s mouthpiece.
- Adjusting the Wattage: To change the Xlim Pro SQ’s wattage, press the fire button three times.
- Adjusting Other Settings: You can adjust the Xlim Pro SQ’s settings by pressing the fire button twice to enter the menu system. Tap the fire button to toggle between options and hold the button to confirm. In the menu, you can switch between vaping modes, change the screen’s theme and reset the puff counter.

One of the useful things about the Oxva Xlim Pro SQ is that it’s a vape with a screen. That means the device has the ability to communicate with you when things aren’t working as they should. The instruction manual included with the Xlim Pro SQ is a bit light on troubleshooting information, though, so we’re going to fill in the gaps here. - Nothing happens when you use the device: Your Xlim Pro SQ is either turned off, or the battery is completely dead. To turn the device on, press the fire button five times. - Device displays a “Locked” error: Press the fire button four times to unlock the device.
- Device displays a “Time Out” error: Shorten the lengths of your puffs. The Xlim Pro SQ automatically cuts off and displays an error message when a puff exceeds eight seconds.
- Device displays a “High Temp” error: The internal temperature of the Xlim Pro SQ is too high. Move the device to a cooler location and keep it away from direct sunlight.
- Device displays a “No Pod” or “Short Circuit” error: Remove the pod and check for a leak. If you find e-liquid under the pod, dry the pod and device completely with a paper towel. If the error message persists, replace the pod.
