Improved Setup Process
The biggest new feature of the Nexa Pix is the greatly improved setup process compared to the previous Nexa Ultra. Both devices store their e-liquid in clear tanks – we’ll discuss the benefits of that in a moment – but you have to install the tank in the Nexa Ultra yourself. That’s a fairly complicated procedure, and you’ll lose some of your e-liquid if you make a mistake. The Nexa Pix has a much easier setup process that Nexa calls “Juicy Lock.” The tank is already installed at the factory; all that you need to do is push it to click it in place and break the seal. It’s basically foolproof.
Clear E-Liquid Tank
The fact that the Nexa Pix stores its e-liquid in a clear tank is a huge benefit compared to traditional disposable vapes.
With most disposable devices, the e-liquid is stored in a large wick. As you vape, the e-liquid moves from the outside of the wick to the middle through the process of absorption. The system works fairly well, but there’s always some waste involved because some of the vape juice remains stuck in the corners of the wick and never flows through to the center. Since today’s disposable vapes typically store at least 15 ml of e-liquid, the waste can be quite significant.
The Nexa Pix is different because the filler material only holds 5 ml of vape juice. The remaining e-liquid is in the clear tank. Although there will certainly be a little e-liquid stuck in the wick when the device is empty, it won’t be as much as with other vapes. In short, you’ll get more puffs than you would with a traditional disposable vape that has the same amount of e-liquid. As an added benefit, you can also see your e-liquid supply just by looking at the tank.
You might notice that the Nexa Pix doesn’t have an e-liquid indicator on the display like other disposable vapes with screens. That’s because you don’t need one. It’s important to remember, though, that the device isn’t actually out of vape juice when the tank is empty because there’s still 5 ml of e-liquid in the filler material. When the tank is empty, you could still have hundreds or even thousands of puffs left.
