Geek Bar Digiflavor BRK Review

This year, the Off Stamp vaping platform caused quite a stir in the vaping community when it treated the world to a completely new concept of how a disposable vape could operate. Consisting of a main battery component and a separate disposable component that holds the e-liquid, the Off Stamp vape is a device that had no real peer at the time of its release. It was clear that other manufacturers would be watching to see if the Off Stamp system resonated with the vaping community.

It's safe to say that Off Stamp’s idea has definitely taken off because Geek Bar – the top brand in the vaping industry today – has now released something that builds on the idea. The Geek Bar Digiflavor BRK definitely puts its own unique spin on the Off Stamp theme, though – and between the advanced technology and Geek Bar’s famous flavors, it’s safe to say that the Digiflavor BRK is going to get plenty of attention from the vaping community.

Is the Geek Bar Digiflavor BRK going to transform the way you vape? To find that out, you’ll have to read our review.

How Much Does the Digiflavor BRK Cost?

Having a reusable battery component makes the Digiflavor BRK more affordable than conventional disposable vapes.

The Digiflavor BRK platform consists of two components.

  • The battery component costs $10.49 at the time of writing – and as we mentioned, it’s necessary for recharging the pod component. You charge the battery with your computer, and the battery component charges the pod when you connect the two.
  • The pod component costs $11.49 and is available in eight flavors at the time of writing. The pod does have a small battery and is capable of operating on its own, but you need the battery component in order to charge it. The pod contains 12 ml of e-liquid and lasts up to 20,000 puffs.

As always, you can expect ultra-fast shipping when you buy your vapes here. Orders from VapeJuice.com are delivered in an average of just 2-5 business days.

Features

  • The Digiflavor BRK has separate pod and battery components, which might be an unfamiliar setup for you if you’ve never used the Off Stamp vaping system before. The pod component has a small 200 mAh battery, and it comes pre-charged and ready to use immediately. Recharging it requires the battery component, which also has the device’s control system and screen. You charge the battery component through your computer, and the battery recharges the pod when it’s connected to the pod magnetically.
  • The battery component has a large wraparound display, which makes the fully assembled device look a little like the Geek Bar Pulse X. The screen shows the current status of the device’s battery and e-liquid supply, and it also shows the current vaping mode.
  • The Digiflavor BRK offers two vaping modes. In the single-coil mode, it switches from one coil to the other each time you puff. In the dual-coil mode, both coils operate simultaneously to produce twice as much vapor while also shortening the device’s total puff count.
  • When you connect a pod, the device’s interface changes its color to match the pod’s flavor.

Digiflavor BRK vs. Off-Stamp Vape: What Are the Differences?

The Digiflavor BRK has a similar design to that off the Off Stamp vape, but its feature set is slightly different.

If you’re currently using the Off Stamp SW9000 or the Off Stamp SW16000, you might be curious as to how the Digiflavor BRK compares to them. After all, Geek Bar isn’t just going to copy the Off Stamp platform outright. They wouldn’t release a device that didn’t bring something new to the table – and indeed, the Digiflavor BRK does exactly that. Here’s how it compares to the offerings from Off Stamp.

  • Battery Capacities:
    • The Digiflavor BRK battery component has a battery capacity of 1,000 mAh.
    • The Digiflavor BRK pod component has a battery capacity of 200 mAh.
    • The Off Stamp battery component has a battery capacity of 800 mAh.
    • The Off Stamp SW9000 pod component has a battery capacity of 200 mAh.
    • The Off Stamp SW16000 pod component has a battery capacity of 210 mAh.
  • Pod Capacities:
    • The Digiflavor BRK has a pod capacity of 12 ml.
    • The Off Stamp SW9000 has a pod capacity of 13 ml.
    • The Off Stamp SW16000 has a pod capacity of 17 ml.
  • Displays:
    • The Digiflavor BRK has a wraparound display that shows the battery charge, e-liquid supply and current vaping mode.
    • The Off Stamp system doesn’t have a display and uses a single indicator light for the battery.
  • Vaping Modes:
    • The Digiflavor BRK has two selectable modes (single-coil and dual-coil).
    • The Off Stamp system doesn’t offer selectable modes.

How to Use the Digiflavor BRK

The Digiflavor BRK has an interface that changes color when you connect a new pod.

The Digiflavor BRK does come with an instruction pamphlet, so you won’t be completely on your own if you’ve never used this type of vape before. You might like a bit of guidance, though, if you’re still trying to choose which vape to buy or have already ordered this device and are waiting for it to arrive. Here’s how to use the Digiflavor BRK.

  • Remove the device and pod components from their boxes and pouches. Peel the plastic covers away from the components and discard them. Remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece.
  • Charge the battery component by connecting it to your computer with a USB cable. The pod component is ready to use, so you can begin vaping while you wait for the battery component to charge.
  • To vape, puff gently on the mouthpiece of the pod component. Inhale and exhale the vapor as if you were smoking a cigarette.
  • When the battery component is done charging, connect the pod component to it. The components attach magnetically. The battery component keeps the pod’s battery topped up automatically. You’re free to disconnect the pod when it’s done charging or use the Digiflavor BRK with the two components connected.
  • Recharge the battery component when the battery meter reaches zero.
  • Press the button on the bottom of the device to switch between the regular vaping mode and Pulse mode.

How to Fix Problems with the Digiflavor BRK

Being a Geek Bar product, you can expect excellent performance and reliability with the Digiflavor BRK. Every vaping device can experience problems from time to time, though, so in this section of our guide, we’ll explain how to fix the most common problems that might occur with this device.

  • Battery Component Isn’t Charging:
    • Replace the charging cable. You might be using an older cable that’s no longer able to deliver power reliably.
    • Clean the charging port. If the port is full of dust or lint, the Digiflavor BRK won’t be able to receive power reliably.
    • Use a different power source. Vaping devices are meant to be charged through computers’ USB ports. If you try to charge your Digiflavor BRK through a mobile phone charger, the battery could overheat.
  • Pod Component Isn’t Charging:
    • Clean the connectors. You can clean the metal connectors on the pod and battery components with a pencil eraser or cotton swab.
    • Make sure the battery component is charged. If the battery component is dead, it can’t charge the pod component.
  • Not Hitting:
    • Confirm that you’ve unboxed the device fully. Remove all plastic film and take the silicone plug out of the mouthpiece.
    • Charge the battery and pod components.
  • Tastes Burnt:
    • Wait longer between puffs. The device’s wick needs a moment to equalize itself after each puff, especially when you’re using Pulse Mode.
    • Replace the device. If your Digiflavor BRK tastes burnt every time you puff on it, the pod component is most likely out of e-liquid. You can generally expect the pod to last several days.

Digiflavor BRK Review: Our Expert Perspective

We love the fact that Geek Bar has decided to introduce a new vaping device with a slightly lower environmental impact compared to traditional disposable vapes. The pod component of the Digiflavor BRK does still contain a battery, so it’s not disposable with standard trash – but it’s still a step in the right direction since the majority of the battery capacity is in the reusable portion of the device.

If you’re already familiar with two-part disposable vapes like the Off Stamp system, trying the Digiflavor BRK will be a no brainer. The Digiflavor BRK doesn’t have quite as much e-liquid in the pod component, which is a downside. However, it does have some nice technical innovations such as the wraparound display and the fact that it offers two vaping modes. Between the advanced features and Geek Bar’s excellent flavors, the Digiflavor BRK is going to earn itself a lot of fans.

Best Points

  • It provides a more economical and somewhat more environmentally friendly vaping solution that still has the convenience of a disposable vape.
  • The wraparound display and multiple vaping modes provide some welcome improvements compared to Off Stamp’s two-part vape.

Could Be Improved

  • It would be nice if the pod component held a bit more e-liquid.
  • A larger flavor selection would also be nice, although it’s certain that the selection will expand if the Digiflavor BRK is a success.
