Geekvape claims that the screen has a 2K resolution, which means that it has at least 2,000 vertical lines. Although it’s impossible to prove that claim, we can confirm that the screen is definitely the sharpest we’ve ever seen on any vaping device.
Although you’re only going to spend so much time looking at the screen, it’s another touch that really sets this device apart as a premium vape. It’s also great for the Digi Max to have such a legible display because it has a touch-based interface.
Innovative New Pod
The Geekvape Digi Max doesn’t just stand out because of its good looks. It’s also full of interesting new technical features. Many of the innovations are centered around the new J pod system, which the Digi Max and Digi Pro both use. Here’s what makes the J pod system so special.
- It consists of two different types of pods. Geekvape J pods have built-in coils, and Geekvape JR pods have replaceable coils. The starter kit includes two J pods with resistances of 0.4 and 0.6 ohm, and the JR pods are available separately.

- The battery has a maximum charging rate of 2 amps, allowing it to get up to a 50-percent charge in just 20 minutes.

- The Digi Max has a maximum charging speed of 2 amps. The charging speed of the Digi Pro is 1.6 amps. The total charging time is about the same in practice, though, due to the lower total battery capacity of the Digi Pro.
- While the Digi Max has a maximum power of 80 watts, the maximum power of the Digi Pro is 40 watts.
- The Digi Pro doesn’t have a gesture-based control system. The screen is also smaller and isn’t quite as sharp, although it’s still very nice.
Ultimately, what you get with the Geekvape Digi Max are 50 percent more battery life, a higher wattage range and an overall appearance that’s a bit more refined and luxury oriented. You get to use the same J pod system either way. So, if you don’t care about the fancy appearance of the Digi Max and don’t plan to vape at power levels above 40 watts, feel free to buy the Digi Pro and save a little money.

Overall, we’d have to say that the Geekvape Digi Max is probably the pod vape to buy in 2025. Because of the recent focus on disposable vapes across the industry, it’s been a while since any company has done something revolutionary in the pod vaping space – and that’s exactly what Geekvape has done with the Digi Max. It all comes down to the J pod system, which uses an innovative new airflow system to deliver superb flavor quality while firing faster than other pod vapes. Thanks to the new shape of the pod’s reservoir, the J pod even stores more e-liquid in a smaller space than other vape pods.
We think that everyone who uses a refillable vape ought to experience the J pod system, and it’s very likely that other manufacturers will be copying many of Geekvape’s innovations very soon.
