Delta-10 Vape Juice vs Cartridges

Delta-10 is the hot new thing in the world of cannabinoids these days, and there’s a good chance that you’ve read about it at least a few times before coming here. There’s an equally good chance that if you’ve decided to try Delta-10 for yourself, your first experience will be with a product like Delta-10 vape juice or vape cartridges. Practically everyone agrees that vaping is a great way to use Delta-10 because inhaling it gets it into your system almost immediately. With Delta-10 edibles, on the other hand, you may have to wait an hour or more before the effects begin to set in. Who wants to wait?

Before you can try a Delta-10 vaping product for yourself, though, you’ve got to decide what type of product you’re going to buy. The two most popular products are Delta-10 vape juice and Delta-10 vape cartridges – and although both of those are vaping products, that’s pretty much where the similarities end. So, comparing Delta-10 vape juice vs. cartridges, what’s the best choice for you? We hope that this overview will help you decide.

How Does Delta-10 Vape Juice Work?

To use bottled Delta-10 vape juice, you need a vape kit with a refillable tank or pod. Because you don’t want to go through your supply of e-liquid too quickly, it’s usually best to choose a small vaping device like a beginner-oriented pod system. A low-wattage vape pen can also be good for Delta-10 e-liquid. If you already own a refillable vaping device, we recommend devoting a separate tank or pod to Delta-10 e-liquid instead of using the same tank for both types of e-liquid. If you mix e-liquid types in the same tank, you’ll experience flavor contamination. It’ll probably shorten the life of your coils as well.

To use Delta-10 e-liquid, you’ll simply fill your tank or pod and take a few puffs at a time until you achieve the desired effect. You’ll need to recharge your vaping device periodically, and you’ll also need to refill your tank or pod when the level of e-liquid starts to get low. After you’ve used the same tank or pod for a while, you’ll notice that the flavor quality begins to decrease. At that point, you’ll replace the atomizer coil unless you’re using a vape pod with a built-in coil. In that case, you’ll need to replace the entire pod.

How Do Delta-10 Vape Cartridges Work?

To use Delta-10 vape cartridges, you need a vape mod or vape pen with threading at the top. Delta-10 cartridges are pre-filled and ready for immediate use, so you can start vaping immediately after screwing a cartridge into your device’s threading. A Delta-10 cartridge typically provides enough e-liquid to last through several vaping sessions, and you’ll discard it when it’s empty.

Delta-10 vape cartridges are designed to work at low wattages. A small single-button vape pen usually works well with pre-filled cartridges. If you have a vape mod with adjustable wattage, that might work with Delta-10 cartridges as well. You’ll want to confirm, though, that the mod has the ability to work at very low power levels. A power level of around 5-12 watts is usually best for pre-filled cartridges. If your vape mod only works at power levels higher than that, you’ll probably experience a lot of harsh dry hits if you use it with pre-filled Delta-10 cartridges.

How Does Delta-10 Vape Juice Compare to Delta-8 Vape Juice?

You’ll find a more detailed answer to this question in our Delta-8 FAQ. In short, though, people often report that Delta-10 feels a bit milder – more energizing and less sedating – than Delta-8. If you’re looking for something that puts you in an elevated state of mind without preventing you from going about your usual business, you’ll probably have a great experience with Delta-10. If you’re looking for something that can give you a more deeply relaxing experience, on the other hand, you might prefer Delta-8 vape juice. Ultimately, though, people react to Delta-8 and Delta-10 in their own way. We suggest trying both and coming to your own conclusions.

Delta-10 Vape Juice vs. Cartridges: What Do They Taste Like?

The first thing that you need to understand about Delta-10 vape juice and cartridges is that apart from the fact that they both contain Delta-10, they’re quite different from each other. Delta-10 vape juice is much like traditional e-liquid in its composition. It’s diluted with propylene glycol, and it’ll work with pretty much any vape tank. Delta-10 vape juice is also flavored in much the same way as traditional e-liquid, with various combinations of food-grade flavors. The e-liquids have the types of flavor profiles that you’d expect vape juice to have, like vanilla, strawberry and watermelon. The flavors are strong enough that bottled Delta-10 vape juice typically doesn’t have a “hempy” flavor or scent. It’s quite discreet.

Delta-10 Cartridges vs Vape Juice

Delta-10 vape cartridges, on the other hand, don’t have the cotton wicks that most traditional vape tanks have. Instead, they have ceramic wicks that are more adapted to thick oils – and instead of being diluted with propylene glycol, the e-liquid in Delta-10 cartridges is usually diluted with terpenes. The terpenes change the flavor greatly. While bottled Delta-10 vape juice tends to come in sweet flavors, a Delta-10 cartridge tastes more like actual cannabis. In fact, it’s common for the makers of Delta-10 vape cartridges to choose specific terpenes that mimic the flavor profiles of well-known cannabis strains. So, if you want your Delta-10 vape to taste like cannabis, you’ll probably love pre-filled cartridges. If you’re not fond of that flavor, on the other hand, you’ll probably prefer bottled Delta-10 vape juice.

Delta-10 Vape Juice vs. Cartridges: Which Is Stronger?

In terms of the amount of Delta-10 that you get per puff, you’ll find that Delta-10 vape cartridges are much stronger than bottled vape juice. A Delta-10 cartridge typically contains 1 ml of e-liquid with a total Delta-10 content of about 870 mg. A 30 ml bottle of Delta-10 vape juice, on the other hand, typically has a Delta-10 content ranging from 500 to 1,200 mg. So, if your goal is to have the most intense experience and to get a good amount of Delta-10 into your system as quickly as possible, you’ll probably prefer pre-filled Delta-10 cartridges.

On the other hand, bottled Delta-10 vape juice also has its benefits. Because the flavor with a Delta-10 vape cartridge is so intense – and also because pre-filled cartridges tend to have very tight airflow – they’re not always conducive to deep inhalation. Since Delta-10 vape juice works with any vape tank, you can use a tank that’s designed for much bigger cloud production. You may find it easier to inhale more deeply, and everyone enjoys blowing big clouds across a room.

Another benefit of bottled Delta-10 vape juice is that it’s much easier to control how much Delta-10 you’re consuming when you use a product that isn’t quite as concentrated. You could just have a few puffs if you only want to have a little Delta-10 – and you can always use more if you’d like to have a more intense experience. It’s harder to use a small amount of Delta-10 with pre-filled cartridges because cartridges are so much more concentrated.

Delta-10 Vape Juice vs. Cartridges: What’s Better for Beginners?

If you’re new to vaping, we think you should base your choice between Delta-10 vape juice and cartridges on the intensity you’d like your experience to have and how much you’re willing to invest in your vaping hardware.

A Delta-10 vape cartridge will work with just about any 510-threaded vaping device – so if you happen to have a small vape pen battery lying around, it’ll work with a Delta-10 cartridge with no problem. If that’s the case, you can try vaping Delta-10 without buying anything at all other than the cartridge. If you don’t have a vape pen battery, they’re widely available in vape shops. You can even find them at many gas stations and convenience stores. On the other hand, Delta-10 vape juice will work with just about any refillable vaping device – including vape pens and pod systems costing well under $20. In that sense, you’re really not making much of an investment into your hardware either way.

You should also consider how intense you want your first experience with Delta-10 to be. As we just explained above, the e-liquid in a Delta-10 cartridge is quite thick and concentrated. Bottled Delta-10 vape juice, on the other hand, is much thinner. If you’re inexperienced with Delta-10 and Delta-8 and aren’t sure how intense you want your first experience to be, that’s a good reason to try Delta-10 vape juice first. If you have just a few puffs, you’re not really consuming a lot of Delta-10 at all. That way, you can start slowly and increase your intake only after gauging your body’s response. If you’re sure that you want your first experience to be as intense as it can be, on the other hand, pre-filled Delta-10 cartridges might be the better way to go.
